Will the Thule Portage Canoe Carrier set work with the factory cross bars for a 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe SE with no sunroof? Thanks,

The Thule Portage Canoe Carrier w/ Tie-Downs # TH819 work with aero, square, round, elliptical, and most factory crossbars. It requires a crossbar spread of 24"-36"; crossbar spread is the distance from the center of one crossbar to the center of the next crossbar. If your 2017 Hyundai Santa has crossbars going from left to right across the roof of your vehicle, then this will work well. If you just have the factory flush rails running front to back then you will need to add a crossbar setup.

For a crossbar setup I recommend going with Rhino-Rack Vortex Aero Crossbars - Aluminum - Black # RRVA137B-2 along with the necessary Legs # RRSX032. This setup will attach to your factory rails and provide a versatile crossbar that allows accessories to be clamped-on or attached via the T-slot top channel. This is 54" long and has a weight capacity of 165lbs. Always remember you should never exceed the weight capacity of your roof, which can be found in the owner's manual.
