RV Air Conditioner That Will Fit on Thin Class-A Roof

Question:
Looking to buy two new units. I have been restoring a 87 Gulf Stream classic. 30ft long. It currently has two but they are old and I rather just replace. I read most of the units need to have minimum roof thickness of 2 1/2 inches. Mine will be 2 most likely. Do yall have units for this shallow of roof depth? If not what are my best options. Thank you

I called a couple air conditioner manufacturers about your issue. They each said the solution was to build an adapter frame to support the body of the unit higher on the roof. With this in mind you could easily use the Advent # ACM135CH which includes the inside distribution box, a heat strip, and soft start capacitor. You could also consider the Advent # ACM135C with out the heat strip.
