Does Installing an Edge Tuner on my 2017 Ford F-250 Super Duty Void the Factory Warranty

Question:
Does this unit bypass oem settings with no trace of its addition when visiting the Ford place. I have an extended warranty - about 40K on truck

When installing something like the Edge # EP16040 on your 2017 Ford F-250 Super Duty you'll want to make sure you reset the factory tune and unplug the unit from the OBDII, but it will not void the factory warranty on your Ford F-250/F-350 under most circumstances. Consumers are protected by the Magnuson-Moss warranty act that states, in part, that unless the part added actually causes a problem, then installation and use of the part will not void the warranty.
We do recommend removing the programmer before going to the dealer for any warranty work just to prevent any possible issues. Most dealers won't mind but some can be difficult.
