Trailer Wiring Harness For 2012 Honda Civic Hybrid

Question:
Hi, I have a Honda Civic 2012 hybrid. I need a suitable harness kit. Apparently I need a hardwire kit as opposed to a connector kit? Can you recommend one? Thanks

There is a trailer wiring harness that fits your 2012 Honda Civic Hybrid, and like you mentioned, you will need a hardwire kit.
I checked with Tekonsha, the manufacturer of the wiring harnesses, and the correct fit for your '12 Civic Hybrid is the ZCI Circuit Protected Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector and Installation Kit # 119250KIT.
This is a great system that actually doesn't involve splicing into your Honda's wiring because it uses zero-contact interface (ZCI) sensors that clamp onto your wiring to read the current.
