You'll want to choose the correct weight distribution hitch based off of the fully loaded tongue weight of your trailer; your tongue weight should be between 10-15% of the GVWR of your trailer. Based off of these estimates you're going to have a trailer that has a loaded tongue weight of roughly 1000-lbs.
I recommend using the Strait-Line Weight Distribution System w/ Sway Control - Trunnion Bar - 12,000 lbs GTW, 1,200 lbs TW # RP66084 which is designed for trailers with tongue weights between 600-lbs and 1200-lbs. The Strait-Line is a great choice that provides weight distribution and sway control with cams, for a smooth towing experience with less noise than traditional friction based sway control systems.
I've linked a review video of this system for you to check out, as well.
