Will the Yakima Highroad Fit on Thule Xsporter Pro Bars

Question:

I have the Yakima Highroad and im interested in the Thule Xsporter Pro. Do you know if the crossbars would be able to accommodate the mount, or is it too wide? Im doing research into what kind of rack would fit my attachments, so i dont have a truck yet, but just doing the research now. Thanks

The load bars on the Thule Xsporter Pro like the # TH500XTB (fits Nissan Frontiers) are 3-1/2" wide x 1-1/2" tall, but it also has T-slot channels that allow for mounting accessories. The Yakima Highroad # Y75FR can be mounted on either crossbars or in the T-slots, so you'll be able to use it with a Thule Xsporter. If your Highroad didn't come with the T-slot mounting hardware you'll want to use the SmarT-Slot Mounting Kit for Yakima HighSpeed and HighRoad Roof Bike Racks # Y02122.
