The best source for clarification on whether or not you should use chains on your 2017 Lexus RX 450h F-Sport is going to be the owner's manual. I was not able to locate a copy online but it's most likely that if you are able to use chains, you'll need Class S compatible chains. For those I recommend using the Konig Premium Self-Tensioning Snow Tire Chains - Diamond Pattern - D Link - K-Summit XXL - Size K67 # TH2004565767 because they're easy to put on and the low profile design ensures that they sit directly on the treads of the tires and won't scratch the wheels. These are steel D-Link chains with ice spikes, so they're going to provide great traction and performance in all types of snow and ice. These are designed to fit on 255//50r20 tires.
If you find that you cannot use chains at all, you can alternatively use the ISSE Hybrid Snow Socks # TCH72, which are also designed to provide traction in snow and are the safe alternative to chains in that a catastrophic malfunction won't damage any of the components in the wheel wells. These are also designed to fit on a variety of tire sizes including your 255/50r20 tires and are a great alternative to chains.
I've linked some review videos of these parts for you to check out.
