Question:
I am considering these 2 nerf boards for my 2020 Ram 1500 Classic quad cab. Other than the fact one is 4inch and the other is 5, what are their main differences? quality ? metal? Clearance ?? Are they both glossy black ? Thanks

The main difference between the Westin PRO Traxx # 21-53555 and the Westin Platinum Series # 21-3555 is that the PRO Traxx bars are straighter and will sit closer to the cab of the truck, where the Platinum Series bars extend out a little bit further from the cab. Other than that, they're both made from steel and are covered with a glossy black powder coat so their construction and color will be the same. It's really just a slight difference in style, but both of these bars are a confirmed fit on the 2020 Ram 1500 Classic with Quad cab.
The Westin PRO TRAXX Oval Nerf Bars - 5" are also available in a Polished Stainless Steel with part # 21-53550. The stainless steel version of the Platinum Series bars are the Westin Platinum Series Oval Nerf Bars - 4" - Polished Stainless Steel # 21-3550.
