Roof Rack and Kayak Carrier for 2012 Honda Fit Sport for Old Town Sportsman PDL 106

Question:

Hi. I need some advise on what combination roof rack/rails, and kayak carrier you would recommend for a 2012 Honda Fit Sport. The kayak is a Old Town Sportsman PDL 106 and weighs about 80 pounds. It is fairly flat hulled and is 36 inches wide. It is a sit on top fishing kayak. I want something that will be safe for long distance transportation if necessary. Thank you for your help!

The Rhino Rack ROC25 roof rack part number # RR83RR is a confirmed fit for your 2012 Honda Fit Sport and is a really great option for carrying a kayak for a long drive. Due to it's flush aero bar design it also would have minimal wind noise.

Then for a kayak carrier that will fit in the top channels of the Rhino Rack the Nautic 581 part # RR581 which will allow you to carry the kayak upright.
