Will the Brophy Hitch Adapter # HT58 Convert a 1-5/8 Inch Hitch to a 2 Inch Opening

Question:
Is the OUTER diameter of this hitch adapter small end 1-5/8 or the inner measurement? I have a receiver on my van that will accept an that is 1-5/8. Thanks!

The Hitch Adapter # HT58 that you referenced is designed to be inserted into hitches with a 1-5/8 inch opening to convert them to a hitch with a 2 inch opening. So yes, the small end of the adapter is 1-5/8 inches and should work well for you.
