Question:
The measurements of my equalizer are 6” spring eyebolt, 5” top to side, 4” top to bottom . What do these measurements mean? 6” i assume are eyebolt to eyebolt, wheel spacing, what determines ride height? What is the third measurement for. I would like to use road armor equalizer, but the measurements are just off a little. Top to side is 5/8” shorter, and top to bottom is 1/2” shorter. I have. 2 1/4” shackles. Will my tires be hitting the trailer floor? Ready to go ahead with the project. Thank you for your past information and help.

In the case of using an equalizer upgrade like the # LC696740, you're rarely going to find a like to like replacement that matches all 3 of the dimensions. The most important dimension is the side to side measurement and the other measurements, as long as they're relatively close, can be made up for by changing shackle straps.
Because the difference is negligible you may be able to use your existing shackles. However, you may need slightly longer shackles like the Replacement Shackle Strap - 2-5/8" Long # 115052 in order to keep the springs level with the ground. Regardless, with this setup you won't experience any issues with the tires bottoming out as long as you're keeping your suspension geometry roughly the same. You need at least 3" for tire clearance from the frame of your trailer and the size difference in height being 1/2" doesn't actually move the axles up a full 1/2" and will likely be negated if a longer shackle is needed.
