I have a hitch off my old 2013 vw jetta sportwagon. I have a new 2015 vw golf sportwagon. is the same hitch compatible?

I have an option for you but the trailer hitch receiver from your 2013 Volkswagen Jetta SportWagen will not work on your new 2015 Volkswagen Golf SportWagen.
I recommend the EcoHitch Hidden Trailer Hitch Receiver # 306-X7315 due to it being the only option for your 2015 Volkswagen Golf SportWagen that has a 2x2 receiver which will give you more options for accessories. I included a picture of the EcoHitch # 306-X7315 installed on a customers car for you to take a look at.
If you already have 1 1/4 inch accessories you can instead use the Draw-Tite Sportframe Trailer Hitch Receiver # 24949. I included a video of the Draw-Tite # 24949 being installed on a 2015 Volkswagen Golf Sportwagen for you to take a look at.
