What shift points are popular in changing on my 2018 5.3 Silverado and is it a safe thing to do

For your 2018 Silverado with 5.3L V8, the Superchips Flashpaq F5 Performance Tuner - GM - Gas # SU2847 is the correct tuner for your. You will be able to adjust your shift points safely, but you will want to make sure to not adjust them too high to avoid possible damage to your vehicle.
I did a little research and the shifting point most people use for performance is around 5,600 rpm for first gear and then 2nd thru 6th around 5,400 rpm.
