Are Superwinch Talon Off-Road Winches Submersible

Hello, I am comparing Talon series Superwinch models, and in my quest, I noticed these two models, Item # SW1695211Superwinch 9,500 lbs and Item # SW1612201Superwinch 12,500 lbs are described a little differently in their descriptions. Item # SW1695211Superwinch 9,500 lbs is described as being submersible, while Item # SW1612201Superwinch 12,500 lbs is described as being non-submersible. These two winches seem to be built essentially the same, with the 12,500 lb winch having a larger motor. So, whats the difference? Thanks for you help, and thank you for a great website!

Both of the Superwinch Talon winches # SW1612201 and # SW1695211 are VS4 vented, submersible winches. The difference is just the capacity that you mentioned. I see that higher capacity is listed in a non-submersible facet currently but I will have that corrected as it is for sure submersible.
