Will Air Bags for a 2018 Thor 24HE Lift the Rear Providing More Ground Clearance

Question:
I have a 2019 Thor 24HE class C Motorhome. Unable to back into driveway as the rear end scrapes the angled driveway. Will the Airlift 5000 provide additional clearance that may make it possible to access driveway? How much lift might I expect at different air pressures?

The correct air bag kit for a 2018 Thor 24HE on a Ford E-350 Cutaway Chassis is the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Spring Kit part # F2061. This system is designed to provide rear end support to reduce sag. It is not designed to lift the rear but in many cases we do see this happens with enough pressure. That said, whether or not it will provide enough lift to prevent bottoming out on any one particular driveway is anyone's guess as the amount of lift and slope of driveway are variables which can't really be predicted. I suggest giving them a shot as they will still provide other improvements as well. I wish I had better options for you but they don't really offer lift kits for motorhomes, they all sit pretty low and ground clearance is just something you have to work around.
