I do have a list of parts needed to flat-tow a 2009 GMC Sierra 1500 but guidelines will be outlined in the owner's manual so I encourage you to look here for yourself. Generally speaking, 4WD models are good to go as is but 2WD models require the driveshaft to be disconnected. I have attached a list of parts below.
