Replacement Furrion RV AC for Dometic AC With Heat Pump
Updated 10/08/2020 | Published 09/30/2020 >
Question:
Does the furrion unit require a new thermostat that does not have the heat pump wiring built in? My original Dometic was a 15k heat pump.

If your existing AC unit has the separate control unit and already has the cut out in the roof for the Air Distribution box, then yes, you can reuse the existing thermostat with the # FR42PV unit.
If however, your existing Dometic AC is a single, self contained unit then you'd need to go with a complete system like # FR55PV.
