Which Roadmaster Base Plate Kit Fits 2003 Ford Ranger XLT 4WD
Updated 09/22/2020 | Published 09/18/2020 >
Question:
Please excuse my confusion, you claim to be installing these on a 2003 Ford Ranger XLT, and indeed overall it seems to be such, except for the front bumper. I have attached pics of my 2003 XLT and, as can be seen, the front ends look different. I dont have that an air dam underneath. I went with your statements Fits 2003 Ford Ranger XLT 4X4 and ordered the 483-1, but in looking over the 477-1 the photos show what seems to match my 2003 Ford Ranger XLT 4WD bumper. So, my question is- did I order the wrong ones? Will the 483-1 I ordered work on my XLT?

I checked again with Roadmaster just now and the correct base plate for a 2003 Ford Ranger XLT 4WD is the part # 483-1 so what you have is the correct base plate kit.
