Can 2018 Ford Explorer with EcoBoost Engine and Adaptive Cruise Control Use a Tow Dolly?

I understand that I can flat tow my Explorer. But I also have a dolly, Is it okay to tow it with the dolly?

According to the 2018 Ford Explorer online manual, if you have a FWD vehicle you can tow it on your tow dolly like # DM9713045 according to pages 250 and 251. However if you have a 4WD vehicle you can only use a trailer with all 4 wheels off the ground or flat tow with all 4 wheels on the ground.
