My truck is set up for 5th wheel can I switch it out to use a gooseneck plate? I have a 2016 Dodge ram 3500 dualy mega cab with the rails in the bed.

We have gooseneck hitch adapters like the Curt Spyder part # 16085 which will fit the rail kit you have in your truck bed and give you a gooseneck hitch. This is a very easy and great solution that would work well.
