Will Reese Goose Box Work On Short Bed 2020 GMC Sierra 2500 Or Is Offset Hitch Ball Needed

Question:

I was just wondering if there is an offset goose all that fits GM’s factory prep. I would like to use the Goose Box with my CCSB truck and that would give me a little more turning clearance.

The Reese Goose Box 5th-Wheel-to-Gooseneck Air Ride Coupler Adapter like part # RP85FR is an excellent option for a 2020 GMC Sierra 2500, even models with the short bed. That said, on short bed models it is possible you will have restricted turning clearance but since the puck system was moved further to the rear with the new puck design on the 2020 GM trucks it would likely be minimal.

They don't offer any sort of offset gooseneck hitch ball for the factory puck systems.
