The Draw-Tite Ultra Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class IV - 2" # 41929 is a custom fit for your 2004 Ram 3500. It will hang below the frame about 12 inches and will be about 7 inches from the back frame rail.
If you have the factory hitch, this will sit just below it and recessed about 2 inches back from the factory receiver collar.
