Replacement Hitch Pin for Thule Vertex Bike Rack

Question:
I need to replace the bolt that secures the bike carrier to the trailer hitch receptacle. The one I am replacing had a nut to tighten it down with, as well as a washer. The one that appears to be the replacement has a washer and a lock washer, but does not appear to have the nut. The bolt is a 12x40mm bolt. Will the nut that is included with this kit fit that bolt? Your website does not give the specs on the nut.
