Question:
We have a Class II 1 1/4 inch hitch on our 2013 Kia Sorento. What cargo carrier would you recommend? We want to use it for coolers, grills for tailgating and luggage for trips. We are looking at the Reese 20x47 railed cargo carrier. We are new to SUVs. Is there a better one for us to consider? thanks.

The 20 X 47 Reese Railed Cargo Carrier, # 59507, would be an excellent choice for your 2013 Kia Sorento. Going with the larger cargo carrier will allow you to carry larger items such as coolers, grills and luggage and smaller items such as chairs or other accessories.
The Class II trailer hitch on your vehicle will have a 300 lb weight capacity which is equal to the weight capacity of this cargo carrier. It is important not to exceed the weight capacity of the cargo carrier or trailer hitch so you do not damage any part of the set up.
The hitch pin and clip are not included with this cargo carrier so you may want to pick up the Pin and Clip, # PC2. Another option would be a locking hitch pin like part # e98880 to deter theft while you are away from the vehicle. You may also want to pick up some rubber straps like part # EM06736 to secure your cargo to the cargo carrier.
