Furrion RV AC Unit Recommendation for Forest River Sunseeker that Has Non-Ducted Assembly

Question:
I have a 2004 Forest River Sunseeker, with the Dometic Brisk unit without ducts. So what do I need to buy to install this replacement unit, do I need to change out the inside unit the controls the Brisk unit with one for the new unit? Do I need to find new gaskets for the roof? My current unit is not controled by a thermostate. Do I need to change that?

Since your current setup is a non-ducted RV AC unit you don't need a new unit that was designed specifically for Dometic applications since you are essentially just installing the unit in the same opening and will be using the lower vent and controls of the new unit.
So, what you'd want is the part # FR65PV which comes with the thermostat, lower vent assembly, and single zone controller and you'd be set.

I have a 2018 Thor Four Winds with a standard 13,500 BTU Coleman Mack AC but it seems like it doesn't cool enough on a warm summer day. I was considering upgrading to a 15,500 BTU Furrion unit and was wondering if it would be a direct or similar fit and would it make a big difference in cooling the RV.
