Question:
old camper has a black tank with damaged outlet hole. I cannot afix a valterra gate valve 3 without some leakage happening, since the hole sizes are a bit different and the screw hole patterns dont match up. Ive attached a picture - is there a way to glue something to the mouth of the outlet hole, and then convert to the gate valve? Id really like to avoid dropping the tank and installing a new one.

The damaged outlet hole will require replacing. I believe you will need to drop the tank to see what is really wrong with the fitting to cause the leak. Then you will use the Valterra ABS Solvent Cement - 1/4 Pint # A05-0303 and I believe the LaSalle Bristol RV Sewer Slip Hub with Flange - 3" # 34466V13 to replace the broken fitting.
