Question:
I have a Thule kayak rack on my 2006 Subaru Outback and I would like to install it on my 2017 Subaru Outback. I want to keep the cross bars that I currently have, but I need new brackets. Which ones should I use? Thanks

If you are planning on using the Square Bars # TH712200 on both your 2006 and 2017 Subaru Outback you will need a new foot kit. There are different types of Outbacks offered in 2017, Touring and non touring. If you have the 'touring' outback you need the Thule Evo Flish Rail Feet # TH710601 and the fit kit # TH186047. If you have the non touring outback you need the Thule Rapid Podium Feet # TH460R and the fit kit # THKIT4063.
If you're an explorer like myself, I use our J-Style Carrier # e98878 to haul my kayaks whenever I'm going anywhere with water. You can fit two kayaks and carriers on top of either Outback!
