Recommended Trailer Hitch Receiver & Wiring Harness for 2020 Honda Odyssey with Hands Free Liftgate

Question:

I am looking at the Draw Tite hitches especially the 71670 but am open to any that will not affect the Hands Free sensor on the rear liftgate of the 2020 Honda Odyssey. Do any hitches not affect the Hands Free sensors and if they do, how do they correct this issue? I am having a hitch place install it and they seemed to not really know about it just saying it maybe affected. Also I see that you have 3 different wiring harnesses for the 2020 Honda Odyssey. I am wondering which one is the best? I see the 2 etrailer ones and assumed that the "upgraded" one is the better one but it is less expensive. So I'm not sure which one is the better one.

The Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2" # 76170 and the EcoHitch Hidden Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2" # 306-X7372 are equally good quality and will allow the hands free liftgate sensors to be used without issue on either side of the center receiver tube. The hidden crossbar design makes either a great option. The biggest difference between these two is the EcoHitch uses recycled material where the Draw-Tite does not. Both are great quality.

For your wiring harness, I recommend the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with Upgraded Circuit Protected ModuLite HD Module - 4-Way Flat # 118781 as what I consider the best option. This is based on quality as well as ease of installation. I've attached a video to assist.
