Question:

Good morning. I have a motor home and I flat tow my Sierra. I have the Roadmaster All Terrain tow bar, 10,000 lbs. I recently traded my Sierra for 2018 Tacoma. My question is two part: 1 Do they have a base plate that will fit my Tacoma so that I can use my current tow bar? I’m trying to save money. 2 Would the BlueOx BLU37TR braking system work with the truck and my current tow bar? I have the tow bar, base plates and safety cables that I used on my Sierra. I simply do not want to install the Roadmaster Invisabrake system on my Tacoma. I hope this makes sense. You are more than welcome to call me if it would help to talk it out verses email. The Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit part # RM-521196-5 is a fit for a 2018 Toyota Tacoma and what you'll want to use to reuse the Roadmaster BlackHawk 2 All Terrain Tow Bar part # RM-422 or one like it. In regards to the Blue Ox Patriot Portable Braking System part # BLU37TR, it's a fine choice and will work well on a Toyota Tacoma.
