Question:

Hi. I am interested in buying your e-bike fat tire 2-bike hitch mount bike rack. My current car can only accommodate a class 1 hitch, will that work ok with this bike rack or will I need to have a class 2 hitch? Thanks in advance for your response.

The Kuat NV 2.0 is one of the most versatile bike racks out there. It is class 1 compatible so it works on your vehicles hitch, has a weight capacity of 60 lbs per bike and is one of the most well built bike racks I have used. You will need to pick up two of the fat bike adapter kits Part # APBK to get around tires up to 4.8" .

Fat tire E-Bikes can get up there in weight so make sure to check the weight of your bikes and make sure you're not overloading your hitch or vehicle. You can save some weight by removing the battery during transport. This also takes some of the stress off of your battery from the road vibrations.
