Can I Use the EZ Connector R7-51 with the Curt Echo

Since this is a pass-thru and the Curt ECHO Brake Controller is a pass thru will that cause issues? If I understand,I would plug the Curt ECHO into my 7 way and then using this adapter319-R7-51 plug it into the back of the CURT ECHO and then the trailer into this piece. Is that going to work or would it cause issues?

I was able to reach out to EZ Connector and they confirmed that the # 319-R7-51 will work with the Curt Echo Mobile Brake Controller # C51180 because all of the same circuits would be carried through the 7 way controller just the same.
