Question:
Can you tell me what size wire the black and white wires are? I need to move my light about 6 inches over in my camper and I will have to splice some more wire onto this light. There is no writing on the wires. Thanks!

Expert Reply:
The Opti-Brite LED RV Dome Light w/ Switch # ILL22CB only draws .7 of an amp when active so basically even the thinnest wire you'd find to use with this would easily be enough. This is due to fact LED lights draw such a small amount compared to standard bulbs. So realistically you could go super thing but super thin wire is harder to deal with so I'd go with 16 gauge as it's thick enough to be easy to work with but not overkill. We sell 16 gauge wire by the foot with part number 16-1-1.
