Question:
My trailer sits so low my portable drain tank barely fits under my drain. Also my trailer drags going into my driveway. How does your system work? Is the EZ Flex the only part I need to raise my trailer? Thanks

Expert Reply:
The Dexter E-Z Flex Heavy Duty Rubber Suspension System you referenced, part # K71-652-00 replaces your existing equalizer like part # TREQ104. The rubber spring will isolate road shock and improve the ride of your trailer, but it will not raise the height of your trailer.
If your leaf springs are currently connected to the underside of your axle, you can use an Over-Under Conversion Kit like part # K71-384-00 for a 2-3/8 inch diameter axle or # K71-385-00 for a 3 inch diameter axle to swap the location of the leaf springs so that they are connected to the top of your axle, which will gain some height for you. Going with taller spring hangers all the way around would also gain more height for you. I have linked you to our selection of spring hangers.
Keep in mind that altering the suspension geometry in this manner can make your travel trailer more top-heavy, causing more roll during turns.
