My popup camper has enough height but is very narrow at 22.5 inches. Will this work on my Palomino Backpack?

We do have an option for you, but the SolidStep Manual Fold-Down Steps for 26" to 29-7/8" RV Door Frames # LC791572 won't work on your 22-1/2" door frame, and there isn't a fold-down option for such a narrow door.
Instead, you'll need to use pull-out steps that mount outside the door, and for a 25-1/2" to 36" entry height I recommend the TorkLift GlowStep Revolution Scissor Steps with Landing Gear # TLA8103.
These are easy to use, have a superb tread and are 22" wide x 8" deep, which are large enough for you to keep your footing at all times. I have added a link to a video review for you to check out as well.
