Question:
eco 10 watt solar panel comes with 20 feet of power cable. If I needed an additional 25 feet of cable what would be the cost? How much power would be lost in transferring an additional 20 feet?

Expert Reply:
To add length to the power cable of the Go Power Eco Solar Charging System # 34273836 I'd use the part # 10-2-1 which we sell by the foot. This is a 10 gauge wire setup that since it's heavier won't have the same amperage and voltage drop as a thinner wire. Since the panel only produces up to 10 amps your loss would be minimal through a 10 gauge wire.
