Can I replace my Atwood model number GC6AA-8P water heater with a ASM G6A-7 SP water heater

The best replacement we offer for an Atwood RV Water Heater GC6AA-8P is the Atwood RV Water Heater GC6AA-8 part # AT96117. The only difference is that the model you have now as an automatic pilot light feature in case the pilot goes out which is not longer offered but aside from that it's the same.

I unfortunately cannot recommend any other unit for replacement.
