Truck Bed Ladder Rack for 2016 Toyota Tundra 5-1/2 Bed with Deck Rails and BAKFlip Tonneau

Question:

Looking for a rack to carry my kayaks on, I own a 2016 Toyota Tundra 56inch box with deck rails and a Bakflip tonneau cover which Id like to use at the same time as my rack. Which one is compatible with this set up? Thanks in advance.

That's a tall order, but the good news is that I do have one option that will allow you to carry your kayaks above the bed of your 2016 Toyota Tundra with the Deck Rail system and BAKFlip tonneau cover installed.

Take a look at the Adarac Aluminum Series Custom Truck Bed Ladder Rack # A4001665. It will work with the BAKFlip MX4 # BAK48409T, BakFlip FIberMAX # BAK126409T, BAKFlip G2 # BAK26409T and BAKFlip F1 # BAK72409T because they are all designed to fit inside the bed rails of your 2018 Tundra. The Adarac rack uses a rail system that doesn't wrap around the inside of your bed rails, which is why it is the only one that will allow you to still use your tonneau cover.

For a kayak rack that will fit the chunkier square bars on the Adarac, I recommend the etrailer J-Style Kayak Carrier - Folding - Universal Mount # e98878.
