Question:
Hello- I have a 2006 Load Rite snowmobile trailer with 5 on 4 1/2 5.30-12 load range C tires on it. The steel wheel, however measures 13 across the diameter. How can that be? I want to buy a spare wheel and tire, but am confused as to the matchup of these two measurements. Is the diameter of a wheel from the outside visible rim?

The Taskmaster 5.30-12 Bias Trailer Tire with 12" White Mod Wheel part # TA86RR would be a great spare if you have bias ply tires.
If you have radial tires, you would need to purchase the tire and the wheel separately and have them mounted at a local shop. For the tire, Taskmaster 5.30R12 Radial Trailer Tire - Load Range C
Item # TT53012C. Then for the wheel, you could go with the Taskmaster Steel Modular Trailer Wheel - 12" x 4" Rim - 5 on 4-1/2 - Silver # TA79RR.
In order to store the spare tire you can use the CE Smith Offset Spare Tire Carrier part # CE27310G.
In regards to measuring the width, you measure from the bead seat, the inside lip, rather than the outside of the lip of the wheel.
