The correct brake controller wiring harness to install the appropriate Tekonsha brake controller on your 2016 Ram 2500 is the # 3024-P. Why were you interested in a different one?
Keep in mind, the Ram from the 2013 model year on has a multiplex 'Powernet' wiring system and puts out a very small amount of voltage to indicate that the vehicle brakes are being applied. Not all Tekonsha controllers are capable of reading this and working correctly, only the P3, part # 90195, the Primus part # TK90160, the Brake EVN # TK63VR, or the Prodigy P2 part # 90885. Other Tekonsha brake controllers will not work.
