I have a soft box cover on, would you be able to make this ladder rack fit while keeping the cover closed?

In order to mount a ladder rack on a 2015 Chevrolet Colorado with tonneau cover installed you first need to make sure the tonneau cover sits inside the bed rails and not on top, in other words the stake pocket holes must be uncovered. If that is the case then there are ladder rack options available but not the ones that clamps inside the bed like the Erickson Truck Bed Ladder Rack w/ Load Stops part # EM07706. Instead, you would need to use one that mounts inside the stake pockets like the Adarac Aluminum Series Custom Truck Bed Ladder Rack part # A4001225 for 5' beds or part # A4001226 for 6' beds which is the most cost effective option we have.

It would not make a difference if the tonneau cover was open or closed in regards to compatible with a ladder rack that clamps inside the bed.
