Is a Bulldog Collar Harder to Latch Than a Wedge A-Frame Trailer Coupler

Question:

Ive read your FAQs on the differences and the Collar style seems to be more rugged and easy to tell if its attached properly. However, Ive read from an admittedly inexperienced trailer owner that the Collar style was harder to hook up as the trailer needs to be more precisely aligned to the ball to get it to in compared to the stamped Trigger Latch or Cast Wedge style couplers which just need to be close. Do you find that to be true?

In regards to the Bulldog Collar-Lok Coupler w/ High-Profile Latch part # BD028463, you will indeed need to be more centered over the hitch ball in order to couple in comparison to the Bulldog Heavy-Duty Cast Head Coupler w/ Wedge Latch part # BD44125W0317 which will more or less center itself with enough pressure. For that reason, I do prefer the trigger/wedge style.
