Question:
Can I take the positive and negative terminals off the breakaway battery and relocate them to a bigger battery? Will the truck charge the big battery just like it charges the small one, I would leave the box for the small breakaway battery but have a bigger battery that I can connect the lights inside the trailer to. I’m looking for a diagram that shows me how to wire the lights to work without being plugged into the truck, but still have the breakaway work. Thanks in advance!

You can use a bigger battery with your breakaway to power the lights on your trailer without being plugged into the truck. We do recommend to have a separate battery for the breakaway switch and an auxiliary battery for the lights on your trailer because if the battery ever drains it is dangerous to not have your breakaway switch active.
I recommend to give an auxiliary battery, wire the lights to a switch and then the battery. You can charge the battery with an AC to DC charger like NOCO Genius On-Board Battery Charger part # NOC34FR. This is the best way to achieve what you are trying to do.
