The hitches that are available for your 2010 Kia Soul are all Class I 1-1/4 inch hitches with a 200-lb tongue weight capacity and a 2,000-lb towing weight capacity.

You will want to check your owners manual or with the Kia dealer for the towing capacity of your Kia Soul. If it is lower than the 2,000-lb capacity of the hitch you will need to go by that lower number as the maximum weight capacity you can tow.

You will want your aluminum boat and trailer, loaded with your cargo, to be below the towing capacity of your vehicle or hitch, whichever one has the lowest capacity.

The Curt Class I 1-1/4 Inch Hitch, part # 11110, you have referenced is my recommendation because it includes the ball mount and pin and clip for towing. I am including links to the installation instructions on the hitch and a video of the hitch being installed on a 2010 Kia Soul.

The other items you will need to complete your towing setup will be a hitch ball and the wiring for lights. The hitch ball will depend on the coupler size of the trailer. If it is 1-7/8 inch size you will need the Tow Ready 1-7/8 Inch Hitch Ball, part # 19256, and if it is the 2-inch size you will need the Tow Ready 2-Inch Hitch ball, part # 19258.

The wiring harness for lighting on the trailer will be the Tow Ready T-One Wiring Harness, part # 118431. This harness will plug into the back of your tail lights and give you lighting on the trailer. I am including a link to this wiring harness being installed on a 2010 Kia Soul.

With these items installed on your Soul and the boat and trailer within the towing weight capacity you will be ready to tow your boat and trailer.
