Hi there! I have a 2020 Jeep Wrangler and need to transport my bikes. need a hitch. need a rack. recommendations please!

Starting with the hitch for your 2020 Jeep Wrangler, I highly recommend the etrailer Class III # e98856 because it features a longer receiver tube to help with spare tire clearance on the Jeep and features a unique matte black finish that I think pairs really nicely with this vehicle. The hitch itself features a 350 pound tongue weight capacity, more than enough for a loaded bike rack, and a 3,500 pound towing weight limit if you ever decide to pull a trailer in the future.

I have attached an installation video along with the written manual that you can use for reference. I have also included an image of the hitch mounted to a Wrangler just so you can see how it will look on your Jeep.

Then for the bike rack I really like the Thule Apex Swing XT # TH9027XT. This premium carrier can handle 4 bikes that weigh up to 37.5 pounds each and features a swing-away design that will let you push the entire rack out and to the side of the Jeep for full rear cargo access. Since the Jeep's rear door swings open left to right instead of up/down, this is really the only type of rack that will give you this access without having to actually remove it each time it's needed. Locks are also included to help protect your investments.
