I have a 2009 Honda CRV with Blue Ox Base Plates. I use a Demco Excalibar Tow Bar with adapter for Blue Ox Base Plate DM9523041 . Will the BX8870 work with this set up? Thank you

We do have an option for you that is going to protect your 2009 Honda CR-V, though the Blue Ox KarGard you mentioned does not work with your set up.

Instead what you will need is the following:

- Sentry Deflector for Demco Tow Bars # DM9523135

- Demco Sentry Deflector Adapter Kit for Blue Ox Base Plates # DM9523061

This will give you compatible base plate/tow bar/protection to keep your CR-V from being damaged. I have added links to video reviews for you to check out as well.
