Can Rear View Safety Backup Sensor System # RVS-115 Turn Off When Towing
Published 01/29/2020 >
Question:
What happens if I hook a trailer up to my truck? Can I turn this off temporarily? Or even if I have a hitch in the receiver, they usually pick that up.

Yes, there's a three way switch on the bottom of the Rear View Safety Backup Sensor System # RVS-115 that allows you to totally turn it off for when you are towing so that the trailer does not confuse the sensor. You can see this at the 2:20 mark of the attached review video I linked.
