What colors are the wires for a 2012 toyota tacoma access cab door lock/unlock? Can I tap into the wiring on the passenger side doors?

To install the Pop and Lock Custom Tailgate Lock, part # PAL8521, you should locate the wiring harness that goes into the drivers side door and attach one wire to the blue wire with red stripe wire and the other wire to the blue with black stripe wire, on your 2012 Toyota Tacoma Access Cab. There should only be one harness exiting the kick panel area and continuing on into the drivers side door.
It is not recommended to connect the wiring to the passenger side doors since on most vehicles the power locks are mainly controlled from the drivers side door locks.
