i am interested in these nerf bars but i would like to know where the mounting points are for the brackets provided

The Aries # AA204009 Round Nerf Bars attach to the vehicle using the existing body mount bolts and brackets that are included with the bars. All the necessary installation hardware is provided.

On that model year, be aware that GM used a very strong thread locker on those body mount bolts so using air tools isn't recommended and can damage the bolts or the internal nut assembly. Hand tools are recommended. When the bolt is reinstalled, it's recommended that you use some anti-seize on the threads like # LT37616.
