The amount of time it takes the Kat's Heaters Handi-Heat Magnetic Heater w/ Thermostat parts # KH1155 to warm up the oil pan, engine block, battery hold down, transmission pan, or hydraulic tank varies per vehicle but the standard amount of time is 3 hours depending on the weather. It does have a 275 degree automatic shut off.
