How to Mount Aries Nerf Bars to 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee

I've installed many running boards and nerf bars, your 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee is a straight forward install and does not require any cutting or drilling to get your Aries Nerf Bars part # AA201001 installed. I have attached a copy of the installation instructions,

The first step is going to be mounting the bars to the body mount brackets. There will be 1 bracket for the front, and 1 for the rear for each side, leave the hardware loose at this point, it helps out a lot with aligning everything.

Then slide the nut plates into the channel in the front and rear and attach brackets using the hardware provided. I think it's easiest to mount the front loosely leaving yourself plenty of wiggle room for movement, then raise the rear to attach it. Once all the hardware is in, you can align the board so it is even, and then tighten all the hardware.

I also attached a photo pointing where to slide the nut plates into the frame. There is a channel or opening at the front and back of the frame where the suspension bolts up, with 2 holes on the bottom.
